Job Summary
Inventory Control Supervisor Job Description:
- Develop, implement, and sustain inventory control policies and procedures
- Conduct daily cycle counting within SAP and reconcile all discrepancies
- Manage the physical and systematic flow of all goods in and out of the warehouse (Post PO receipt and Pre issuing to manufacturing)
- Supervise and train a team of inventory control specialists/ storekeepers
- Responsible for monitoring al relevant inventory metrics (Slow Moving Inventory, Scrap/Obsolescence, Return To Vendor)
- Optimize warehouse storage capacities
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and inventory accuracy
- Promoter and leader of the 5s and Continuous Improvement programs
- QHSE program advocate
Minimum Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or related experience.
- Experience in supervisory roles preferred.
- Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions; write legibly.
- Minimum 15 years inventory experience
