POSITION: Lubrication Tech
DEPARTMENT: Engineering
REPORTS TO: Chief Engineer, Assistant Engineer, and Maintenance Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are looking for lubrication technician to lube all equipment based on lubrication schedule.
Assist maintenance mechanics when needed
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Maintain log books associated with filter and oil changes
communicate issues to supervisor
On the job training with various types of oil, grease and filters
Primary Job Duties:
- Should be visible and readily available on the plant floor as much as possible to assist each other and all other departments as needed.
- Complete preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, both while running and during scheduled shutdowns.
- Maintain a safe working environment both in the maintenance shop and on the plant floor.
- Must be food safety minded with attention to details being critical when working on equipment or anywhere near the product.
- Provide and maintain your own hand tools
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: On the job training
Education: A high school diploma or GED.
Qualifications:
- Previous working in the food industry is a plus.
- Mechanical ability.
- Understanding of basic tools.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs.
- Ability to work on your feet for hours at a time, and in hot environments.
- Food manufacturing knowledge is a plus but not required.
