Summary Of Responsibilities
This position serves as the Assistant Athletics Director (AD) for Compliance for the Intercollegiate Athletics program. The Assistant AD implements all policies and procedures of the department, university, conference and NCAA. Primarily, this position educates student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and staff while also monitoring and interpreting NCAA and American Athletic Conference rules. Salary
$75,000 - $80,000 per year.

Summary Of Responsibilities
This position serves as the Assistant Athletics Director (AD) for Compliance for the Intercollegiate Athletics program. Primarily, this position educates student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and staff while also monitoring and interpreting NCAA and American Athletic Conference rules. Further, this position is responsible for investigating and reporting NCAA and American Athletic Conference rules violations. Other duties include:
- Direct oversight of assigned NCAA Bylaws, handling all policy and procedure and other high-level tasks associated with the assigned NCAA Bylaws for all sports.
- Oversight of primary compliance functions including but not limited to recruiting (visits, academic evaluations, transfers, recruiting activity, etc.), eligibility, monitoring, education including onboarding of new coaches, and staff declarations for multiple assigned sports.
- Communication of rule changes and waivers to assigned sport programs.
- Preparing and delivering rules education for sport staff and student-athletes beyond sport assignments (ticketing, marketing, other departmental staff, etc.).
- Assisting and collaborating in investigation and processing of any rules violations for assigned sports and beyond.
- Drafting and filing of NCAA legislative relief waivers and extensions of eligibility for assigned sports and beyond.
- Roster management in multiple compliance software’s for assigned sports.
- Management of initial and transfer eligibility and tracking for assigned sports.
- Working all home football contests, as well as select men’s and women’s basketball contests.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
