Position Summary
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Compliance Services Manager - Boca Raton, FL.
Summary Of Responsibilities
- Provides confidential administrative, technical and office support to the University Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer (CCO), the Executive Director (ED) of the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX (OCR9), the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Compliance (AAD), and their respective offices and staff.
- Manages all office processes including assisting the CCO, the ED and the AAD with developing and administering their budgets, including salaries, expenses, purchase requisitions, capital needs, travel, and reimbursements.
- Managing the CCO, ED, and AAD department calendars and schedules.
- Encumbers funds as required. Maintains annual maintenance contracts and subscriptions. Handles time input certifications.
- Maintains office files and records. Acts as HR partner.
- Coordinates, prepares, tracks and reports on various training workshops, outreach initiatives, etc. and maintains associated documents including sign-in sheets.
- Develops reports as needed.
- Manages database system for OCR9 matters and complaints.
- Reviews and tracks all incoming reports.
- Assists ED in conducting initial outreach and coordinating intake meetings with complainants and reporting parties.
- Maintains case management system and recordkeeping.
- Assists the CCO with the administration and management of University Policies, compliance websites, foreign influence screenings, hotline and email intake and other administrative compliance and ethics activities.
- Coordinates, organizes, and takes minutes for various compliance-related committee meetings and management and coordination of board materials and reports.
- Assist the department with scheduling and planning outreach and training activities, including securing training locations, setting up Zoom training links, tracking and confirming participant attendance.
- Assist with record keeping of compliance department staff training certifications.
- Performs other job-related support and special tasks as assigned.
