Schmidtke Orthodontics is a fun, fast paced, state of the art, multi-location orthodontic private practice serving the Fox Valley area for 50 years. We are seeking an Orthodontic Assistant/Dental Assistant wanting to challenge themselves in a high quality, private practice setting. Skilled professionals with a desire to provide excellent care and a strong work ethic need apply. This position offers 32-36 hours per week. Experience preferred but willing to train an outstanding candidate.
General duties, but not limited to:
- Chairside procedures: assisting doctor and working independently with patient.
- Communication with doctor, patient/parent guiding patient throughout their care.
- Invisalign treatment procedures, placement of attachments
- Patient charting and corresponding with general dental offices
- Sterilization and proper infection control.
- Digital radiographs, digital photos, intraoral scanning and impressions.
Serious candidates will possess:
- Experience in the dental field or Certified Dental Assistant Certificate preferred but willing to train an outstanding candidate.
- Upbeat personality with a natural affinity towards superior customer service.
- Strong work ethic while being open to improving and growing skill set.
