What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager - Accounting position at Schneck Medical Center?
We are looking for an experienced accounting professional to add to our incredible accounting team as an Accounting Manager. In this role, your main focus will be to manage team members responsible for the daily operations of the accounting department, handle many aspects of the monthly financial reporting, and be heavily involved with the annual budget and external audit. Your role is integral to maintaining the high standards set for timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with both internal policies and applicable federal and state regulations. As such, we seek a detail-oriented, focused, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude who is driven to achieve excellence and lead others to do the same. Existing knowledge of healthcare finance would be beneficial, but is not required.
Education
Minimum: Bachelor degree in Accounting
Preferred: CPA or MBA
Experience
Minimum: 5 years accounting experience
Preferred: 5 years accounting experience in healthcare or related environment with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Knowledge of wage and hour laws and experience with payroll processing.
