EDUCATION
Minimum Required– High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred – Phlebotomy certificate
CERTIFICATION
Phlebotomy certification required within 2 years of hire.
EXPERIENCE
Preferred – Previous phlebotomy experience in hospital setting through previous employment or through phlebotomy externship with an approved program.
SUMMARY
Performs accurate identification of patient before collecting specimen or labeling specimen.
