What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) position at Schneck Medical Center?
Pay rate: $24.79/hr - RRT, $23.50/hr - CRT
Eligible for sign-on bonus: $10,000 - RRT, $5,000 - CRT
JOB DESCRIPTION
EDUCATION
Minimum: Associates degree from accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Preferred: Bachelor's degree from accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Current Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner license required; Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care or eligibility to sit for the exam required. RRT license preferred.
CPR required. ACLS required within one year of hire.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Successful completion of clinical experience required for graduation from AMA-approved Respiratory Care training program.
Preferred: Minimum of two years of acute care experience in Respiratory Care with Arterial Blood Gas puncture experience/skill; Critical Care experience; Pulmonary Function experience; EEG experience.
Salary : $24 - $25
