Job Details
General job duties include Medical Surgical Nursing, scanning and administering medications, vital signs monitoring, head to toe assessments, IVs, blood administration, and isolation procedures.
Equipment utilized includes telemetry, POC, vital signs monitors (Phillips), vein viewers, medical supplies, bladder scanner, and Meditech charting.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in Medical Surgical Nursing.
Current Indiana RN License.
Schedule Information
Floating to other units / departments between the Adult medical unit and Adult surgical unit 2N / 3N.
Unit Specific Information
2N has 23 surgical beds and 3N has 19 adult beds and 5 pediatric beds.
Nurse to patient ratio is 5 patients per RN with support staff of LPNs and / or CNAs.
