As a Senior Tax Analyst – International, you will work as a member of the Tax Advisory Services team and will be responsible for supporting our clients and other Schneider Downs professionals and engagement teams in addressing the international tax compliance and consulting needs of clients with international operations. You will be part of a learning culture that values quality and integrity, where you’ll be supported by Schneider Downs professionals and will work directly with our clients. This hands-on environment provides experience with a variety of services, clients and industries such as manufacturing and distribution, construction, transportation and logistics, automotive, nonprofits, and energy and resources.

What You’ll Do
- Research and analysis of international tax issues for a variety of clients and industries including corporations, pass-through entities and individuals
- U.S. outbound and inbound international tax compliance, consulting and structuring
- U.S. international tax compliance preparation, review and analysis of issues related to U.S. tax information reporting, IRS forms, and disclosure statements including review and preparation of U.S. income tax returns with respect to client’s foreign operations, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8938, 1118, 1120-F and related forms
- International tax aspects of accounting for income taxes (ASC 740)
- U.S. Foreign Tax Credit compliance and planning
- Proactively communicate with engagement teams and clients on complicated tax and accounting matters
- Focus on international tax technical and professional development via coaching and mentoring tailored to each individual, as well as learning and growing from direct project experience
- Utilize your entrepreneurial spirit at a firm that values new ideas and innovation, allowing you to learn and grow quickly, as well as build strong internal and external relationships
- Support the growth and development of team members through coaching and mentoring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of three years of public accounting experience with experience in corporate tax and international tax compliance and consulting
- CPA license eligibility
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel and Power Point
