Federal Inside Systems (Sales) Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic Inside Systems Engineer to support the United States Federal Government. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our customer-facing sales managers to develop customized solutions that meet our clients' unique needs.

The Inside Systems Engineering (ISE) position offers a fantastic career development opportunity for those aspiring to transition into Outside Sales Engineer roles or other technical sales positions. ISEs will engage in project design work, assisting with product presentations, critical systems design (electrical and mechanical), liaising with internal technical resources, and providing valuable technical consultation to customers, contractors, and consultants.

What will you do?

• Deliver engaging product presentations and lead insightful solution discovery conversations.
• Develop innovative technical solutions for customer projects.
• Review specifications and create compelling project proposals during the pre-sales cycle.
• Prepare comprehensive submittal documentation following project awards.
• Coordinate with Schneider Electric Services to provide design installation information and support, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Build a robust knowledge base in Schneider Electric power, cooling, data center physical infrastructure, metering, and software solutions.
  
  

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Bachelors Degree in a related field.
• General knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, precision cooling, IT rack layouts, and management software.
• Preferred engineering background.
• 2 years of experience in technical sales or a related field.
• Experience in solutions design with a solid understanding of Secure Power Products.

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $XXX.00 - $YYY.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
