What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Controls and Energy Expert position at Schneider Electric?
This position requires experience in installing panel terminations based on submittals and stripping and terminating 12 to 16-gauge wire. The ideal candidate should also have working knowledge of red-lining commissioning.
Experience in installation of panel terminations based on submittal drawings is highly preferred. A two-year degree or related work experience is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues on installed Building Automation and Energy Management Systems.
- Perform software preventative maintenance on installed Building Automation and Energy Management Systems.
- Code software using multiple languages in multiple environments as appropriate.
- Suggest system improvements, modifications, etc.
- Assist with commissioning and startup of new Building Automation and Energy Management Systems.
- Streamline and develop software code, graphics, and drivers for graphic front end, human-machine interface.
A strong understanding of the following skills and qualifications is essential for success in this role:
- Intermediate knowledge of HVAC and building automation.
- Experience in installation of panel terminations based on submittal drawings.
- Working knowledge of red-lining commissioning.
