Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Customs Operation Intern in the Franklin, TN facility. This position will be full-time beginning in May 2025 so the ideal candidate must be located in the area. This role will be Hybrid . No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

What do you get to do in this position?

  • Drive customs initiatives through projects, collaboration and daily tasks
  • Create USMCA Certificates and Certificates of Origin for internal and external customers
  • CTPAT, Customs and Trade Partnership initiatives for NAM through plant communication, and improvement of training materials
  • Export Shipment Support
  • Troubleshoot live customs transport issues
  • Support ad hoc continuous improvement project requests

This job might be for you if :

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's (or Masters) degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent is required.
  • You have strong analytical skill for data analysis. Significant proficiency with Microsoft Excel data mining functionality required, with Tableau experience a plus
  • You exhibit process discipline / organization to follow repeatable standard processes and documentation of shipment exception events
  • You exhibit strong communication skills (both verbal and email), including confidence in communication with business partners without formal introduction (cold calling)
  • You are open seating work environment and able to flexibly balance multiple priorities and fluctuating workload
