SE-Federal operates in accordance with a Special Security Agreement approved by the US Government, established to mitigate concerns associated with Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI). To mitigate potential FOCI, SE-Federal Inc., in concert with the DoD’s Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), has agreed to a comprehensive series of controls and requirements set forth by the Special Security Agreement, subject to oversight by the Government Security Committee (GSC) to ensure independent SE Federal management. As such, SE Federal is approved to work with the US Government on classified and unclassified programs and is positioned to support strategic partnerships in the development of key technologies for U.S. Federal Agencies and Defense Department.
Job Summary:
Schneider Electric Federal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ERP Finance Specialist to play a critical role in our ongoing implementation of SAP S/4HANA. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute directly to the success of a major transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), and a proven ability to manage complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the finance-related workstreams within the SAP S/4HANA implementation, including Procure to Pay, Quote to Cash, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the implementation partner (Deloitte) and internal stakeholders to ensure successful system design, configuration, and testing.
- Develop and deliver training materials for end-users on the new SAP S/4HANA finance modules.
- Assist in data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Support the development and implementation of new financial processes and controls within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the finance modules in SAP S/4HANA.
- Contribute to the overall success of the ERP implementation project by meeting deadlines, adhering to budgets, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP).
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP S/4HANA experience is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of Procure to Pay and Quote to Cash processes.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
