This role is for an HVAC/Building Automation Field Technician based in the Las Vegas area. The successful candidate will provide high-quality engineering designs, central software support, and participate in designing, installing, and servicing building automation control and facility management systems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews specifications, drawings, and estimates to ensure accurate design and budgeting.
- Resolves design issues through RFI's, field surveys, and documentation materials tracking.
- Participates in field startup using standard start-up and checkout processes.
- Assists in job close-out by providing final record drawings and graphic front-end development.
- Maintains and adheres to standards for estimating and budgeting software or hardware designs.
- Exercises signature-level authority as indicated by the Authorization Level Document.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of HVAC and building automation.
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills, including influencing, persuading, listening effectively, and soliciting input from others.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills, including handling multiple demands and assignments, prioritizing tasks effectively and efficiently, and managing resource procurement and utilization.
Experience: 3-5 years of relative work experience or either a two-year degree or related experience required.
