What will you do?
Collaborate with internal teams to lead activities related to the management of materials related to production, using multiple tools and communication methods.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain cycle counting strategies that align with company targets.- Strategize to efficiently determine and process obsolete material.
- Develop and monitor program to ensure kanban material is aligned with production volumes.
- Execute daily inventory analysis; identify and resolve discrepancies and potential shortages.
- Ensure maintenance and accuracy of all records related to inventory transactions; cycle counts, adjustments, dispositions, audits, etc.
• Oversee stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
• Locate items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers to assist order processors.
• Communicate with Purchasing Department as needed regarding new items, changes of location, counts, etc.
• Ensure milestones and goals are met.
• Perform and assist with general maintenance and cleanup of warehouse.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Inventory planning and inventory management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management processes.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Supply chain management knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with ERP / Inventory control technical transactions.
- Good written, verbal, reading and math skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Forklift experience.
