Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Modernization Team, you will play a crucial role in providing unique custom solutions for customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in design, preferably in the electromechanical field. A minimum of 4 years of experience is required, with a proven track record in manufacturing or product design/development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex electromechanical systems, including low voltage and medium voltage switchgear and related equipment.
- Work closely with various engineering and plant teams to develop solutions within the scope of assigned projects.
- Develop Bills of Material based on new product designs requirements.
- Create engineering reports/submittals that clearly address the technical needs of a project.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4 year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Design, preferably in electromechanical field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing or product design/development, power distribution products, and design of metal-clad enclosures.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate on design and project work.
- Apply problem solving approaches to develop solutions within the scope of a project.
