What will you do?
Complete assignments that focus on the maintenance of engineering records for standard product offerings. Investigate issues and recommend corrective action(s). Execute approved recommendations (i.e., create/revise records in Creo and/or Symphony). Create/write Application Notes and submit them for validation.
Support to LoB
Support PMP, PEP Full Track, and Optimization projects as required (Pilot support and content testing)
Support risk analysis (FMEA and FTA)
PRB and TEX support for factory issues and field support
Release of ANs for evolution and correction of legacy records
Coordinates and prioritizes all support requests (ACE, MOTS, and PDCRs)
Support to GSC (Plant TA, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing) to attain lead times and reduce errors.
Centralized support for Obsolescence of designs (O2, Longtail and Commodity)
Performs standard record changes based on GSC needs and priorities.
Performs investigations related to standard design issues.
Review deviation requests
CoS support
Support to Project Engineering
Support to Design Optimization
Maintains an up-to-date, thorough knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal codes/regulations and interprets and applies industry standards (UL, ANSI, NEC) to new designs.

- Reactive approach for late discovery
Performs standard record changes based on GSC needs and priorities.
Performs investigations related to standard design issues.

- 3F analysis
- Product Audits
- QVE project execution
- Helps provide priority for legacy record changes to each factory MCO
- Coordinates and prioritizes all support requests (ACE, MOTS, and PDCRs)
Support to Project Engineering
- Automate corrections to records to reduce/eliminate the manual intervention by OE
- Coordination of Obsolescence communication
- Coordinates and prioritizes all support requests (ACE, MOTS, and PDCRs)
Support to Design Optimization
- Coordinates and prioritizes all support requests (ACE, MOTS, and PDCRs)
- Supports content testing for project launch.
- Release of ANs for evolution and correction of legacy records
Maintains an up-to-date, thorough knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal codes/regulations and interprets and applies industry standards (UL, ANSI, NEC) to new designs.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Experienced in the design, applications, and/or installation of LV SWGR
- Proficient in Creo/ProE, PDM, Symphony, ODM , Order Editor, ACE and Q2C.
- Proficient in 3D tolerance analysis
- Accountable, self-motivated, and proactive
- Solid and pragmatic problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills to work collaboratively with remote teams and management.
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse workplace with people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.
- Minimum 5 years' experience
