Process Operator Job Description
The Process Operator tends machinery and equipment that performs a variety of tasks, including riveting, installing working parts, assembling, inspecting, testing, repairing, and packing electrical breakers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Tend and operate automated and semi-automated manufacturing machinery
- Run machines (AMI, ANDI, HOM AMI), perform On-line Repair, and Packing Cell tasks
- Meet production requirements and maintain part quality
Requirements:
- GED or High School diploma required
- Ability to use measuring instruments
- Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures for inspecting breakers
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English
Work Environment:
Constant standing and walking for up to an eight hour shift
Occasional bilateral upper extremity use with low to moderate force required to push, pull, and position bin stacks
