Procurement Intern

Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Procurement Intern in the Lincoln, NE facility. This position will be Part-time starting now through Summer so the ideal candidate must be located in the area. This role will be Hyrbid. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

What do you get to do in this position?

• Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for various materials and services.
• Support the procurement team in negotiating contracts and pricing agreements.
• Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and industry trends.
• Help maintain accurate procurement records and databases.
• Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and strategies.
• Participate in supplier performance evaluations and audits.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the procurement department.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
