Responsibilities
Business Partnering for Project Tendering & Execution teams
- Monitor and challenge projects and project portfolio performance
- Recommend corrective actions and help to deploy and follow up mitigation and/or prevention plans to maximize profit and cash and reduce risk in timely manner
- Over and Under-recovery mgmt. / utilization including initiation of corrective actions
- Provide and monitor relevant financial support to Project Managers (as SPOC), including commercial documents/Forex/trade compliance/tax as necessary
Reporting, Monitoring and Escalation
- Provide monthly project and portfolio reporting and analysis, ad-hoc reports as required, including, but not limited to forecasting and variance analysis, and split at organizational unit level
- Track and monitor the core financial and none-financial project elements (i.e. quality, time and cost)
- Analyze trends and deviations in performance - Compare planned objectives, requirements, risks, schedules and budgets against what is actually being delivered
- Ensure proper allocation of project costs by tracking internal and external purchasing and labor costs
- Partner with Local, Regional, and Global teams to provide financial support in terms of data stewardship, metrics, analysis, reporting and compliance
Compliance, Integrity and Risk Management
- Ensure project accounting, internal policy and process and IFRS15 compliance for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting process, as well as correct project closing process, support internal & external audits
- Lead and participate as an active and disciplined member of the team in monthly Project Reviews, communicate issues and actions aligned with REL process
- Support CAO by providing relevant information for external audit, such as project contract, invoices, P&L, claims, penalties, variation orders, etc. and ensure execution for balance sheet items, like project inventory reduction with HUBs/RACs mgmt.
- Responsible for ensuring the financial accuracy and transparency of project accounting and reporting
Qualifications
- University and/or Business School : Master's degree or equivalent
- Fluent in English (another language will be valuable)
- Strong experience in Finance & Control
- Experience as Finance Business Partner in Project environment
- Experience in a Multi-cultural team environment is a plus
Locality: São Paulo/SP (hybrid working)
