What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Document Controller position at Schneider Electric?
The Project Document Controller will support operations on a global program for a leading Web Giant. The ideal candidate is a self-driven individual who is comfortable working in a highly dynamic work environment. This person will gain experience in project scheduling, document control, and overall program support
Responsibilities:
- Consulting with project managers and technical experts to set up project schedules
- Monitoring project timelines and deadlines
- Identifying critical path and facilitating meetings to resolve schedule conflicts
- Schedule and facilitate project planning meetings
- Liaise and distribute project information with all levels of the project team and external parties
- Coordinate with program stakeholders to set-up projects and key artifacts
- Support with development of operational tooling and document management

- This position will be reporting to the Senior Project Manager
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business or a related field
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel
- Understanding of project management phases and knowledge areas
- Understanding of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Ability to engage with stakeholders from all levels in the organization
- Experience with Smartsheet or other project management software tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, etc.
- Tableau experience
