Security Operations Engineering Intern (SWE) - Summer 2025

Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Security Operations Engineering Intern in our New Jersey location.

What will you do?

• Update and interpret drawings from field red line schematics
• Support the deployment of security into new construction buildings
• Coordinate with design team on shop drawings, project and construction coordination
• Conduct field surveys and integrate findings into design documents
• Assist with project material procurement, configuration, and delivery

What qualifications will make you successful? 

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Technical Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field
• Basic knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and security systems
• Basic knowledge of security equipment operation and maintenance
• Have a high focus on customer service and satisfaction

For this New Jersey based position, the expected compensation range is $22.00 - $27.00 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and recognition programs.

The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within New Jersey. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
