What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Full-stack Developer position at Schneider Electric?
Mission:
We are passionate about energy sustainability and supporting the energy transition with digital technologies. We are also passionate about supporting our existing business streams to be as agile as they can be, always looking to improve efficiency via digitization. We aim to deliver the tools to enable both.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days a week in the office – Dunfermline and then, Edinburgh Park from 2025.
Key responsibilities:
- Ideation and design of internal software systems alongside our existing development teams.
- Implementation of design requirements in line with sprint goals.
- Advancing best practices within the development & test teams.
- Assistance for junior members in the team regarding technical progression & light mentoring.
- Strong competency with Visual Studio IDE & .Net development technologies
- Strong competency in C#
- Strong competency in .Net Core 3.1
- Strong competency in SQL / Microsoft SSMS
- Strong competency in Angular & Typescript
- Strong competency in CI/CD & DevOps
- Understanding of application architectures
- Understanding / experience of messaging formats (Xml / JSON)
- Energy sector knowledge or experience highly beneficial
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, equivalent or proven experience working as full-stack developer.
