Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Developer Co-op/Intern to join our CTO group within the Digital Buildings Line of Business. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on various innovative projects that drive the future of smart buildings. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to cutting-edge solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions for digital building applications.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Assist in the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept projects.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and trends in smart buildings and IoT.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Document software designs, code, and processes for future reference.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C#, C , or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Agile).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for innovation and a desire to learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IoT, cloud computing, or smart building technologies.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning.
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in a related field.
