About the Role:
We are looking for an exceptional individual with expertise in renewable energy, climate mitigation strategies, and people management. As a key member of our team, you will lead cross-disciplinary projects, including target setting and decarbonization initiatives, while fostering a high-performance team culture that values collaboration and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead with Purpose: Oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring exceptional client experiences and satisfaction.
- Cultivate a High-Performance Team Culture: Directly manage a diverse team of consultants and indirectly oversee a matrix of experts, promoting collaboration and growth.
- Innovate and Expand Service Offerings: Continually enhance existing service deliverables, maintain and improve our renewable energy market intelligence platform, and develop new service innovations leveraging digital tools.
- Support New Business Development: Collaborate with Business Development teams to secure new business, identify opportunities within existing clients, and position them for implementation and additional services.
- Represent Schneider Electric Externally: Participate in industry events, showcase our work as a thought leader, and create engaging content that boosts our visibility, differentiation, and reputation.
Requirements:
- Prior consulting experience at a strategic level
- Originating or delivering on VPPA/PPA/Tax credit transactions preferred
- Strong understanding of VPPAs, PPAs, Tax credits, EACs, and GOs; RECs, IRECs, and/or Carbon Offsets preferred
- Domain expertise in renewable energy and/or climate mitigation strategies for multinational corporations
- People management and development experience, specifically managing and coaching a multi-national team
- Success managing consulting engagements with large national and global commercial customers
- A passion for serving client needs, joy in others' success, empathy, and superior listening skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including experience making presentations to external clients, client stakeholders, prospects, internal stakeholders, and the public
