Customer Facing Planning Project Manager

  • Mission: Manage supply chain performance for critical customers

Key Responsibilities

  • Desing, automate and deploy processes to monitor and improve supply chain performance with critical customers.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders like Order Management, Customer Representatives and Upstream partners.
  • Prepare content for Customer specific SIOP reviews

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Track open orders of critical customers and assess risk to late deliveries.
  • Anticipate risk of late deliveries for critical customers.
  • Drive immediate containment actions with factories, supply planners and other stakeholders to mitigate potential or imminent shortage.
  • Understand Supply Chain performance metrics, analyze and identify root causes. Create strategic action plan to correct and prevent misses to supply chain performance.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop KPI’s, Dashboards, alerts that provide visibility on the status of key customers.
  • Prepare content every month for customer specific SIOP reviews, follow up on open actions.
  • The front office team and drive improvement for detection and visibly of potential customer disruption.
  • Collaborate with demand planners and keep alignment in the supply chain signal.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the GSC systems and processes that improve our capability to meet or exceed customer commitments while improving efficiency and reducing cost.
  • Make available required reports in a timely and accurate manner, provide analysis and conclusion incl. recommendation for actions.
  • Stablish communication cadence with multiple stakeholders with accurate reporting and periodic reviews and meetings.
  • Share vision and transformation strategy with other stakeholders outside the Supply Chain driving better visibility to information improving information provided to customers.

 

Competencies

 

· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts. Proven ability to work in a team environment between the functions of Manufacturing Operations and interact regularly with plant managers and supply chain managers regarding goals and accomplishments.

· Possess analytical and technical planning skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.

· Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive team leader who welcomes challenges.

· Foster collaboration and networking.

· Proven leadership skills to drive simplicity and decision making in a complex organization.
