Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Technical Product Owner in Andover, MA.

 

Job Description: Lead the development and enhancement of our solutions tailored for small and medium commercial buildings. Develop a clear and compelling product vision for the SMB platform, with a focus on addressing the unique needs of small and medium commercial buildings. Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with business goals and customer requirements. Gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends. Translate business goals across regions and internal stakeholders into actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for development teams. Guide the end-to-end product development process. Prioritize collaboration with targeted launch countries/key customers and drive field trials to ensure early validation. Advocate for user-centric design principles, collaborating with UX/UI teams to create intuitive and efficient user interfaces for the platform. Define release plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring timely delivery of product increments. Conduct sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies. Use market insights to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge. Act as a bridge between the development team and customers, gathering feedback and insights to continuously improve the IoT platform. Conduct customer interviews, field trials, and surveys to understand evolving needs and preferences.

 

Requirements: Position requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Energy Systems, or closely related technical field and experience (1 year with Master’s or 3 years with Bachelor’s) in energy systems engineering or related occupation, along with at least some education or experience in the following skills: Designing Building Automation and HVAC Systems; Strong understanding of IoT technologies, HVAC technologies, protocols, interoperability standards, and fundamental cyber security principles; Using Advanced Analytics and AI tools to analyze building and energy data; Analyzing and presenting complex building (energy) systems (Micro Grid, Building Management System, Power Data/Meters and Analysis of Building Utilization); Programming using modern languages (Python, C, C#); Using specific software (visual Studio Code, Jupyter, Notebook), libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Plotly, Keras), and models (Linear Supervised, LSTM) to perform energy systems analysis and design; and Using Agile and Scrum methodologies and product management tools.
