Warehouse Leader - Beginning of Week (BOW)

Upcoming BOW Shift Model:

  • Hours: Three 11.5-hour shift model promoting work-life balance
  • End of Week (BOW) Days: Monday through Wednesday

What will you do?

  • Typically works within a warehouse sector and a group of between 6 - 10 operators
  • Responsible for the safety, ergonomic, and 5S behavior within the sector.
  • Responsible for training and certification of operators LWB1 and LWB2 and contributing to the updates of the versatility and training matrix.
  • Required to complete LWB1 and LWB2 activities as needed.
  • Does basic problem solving, or simple maintenance as required.
  • May be responsible for temporarily moving or shifting individual operators from one position or sector to another depending on changes in demand or priorities.
  • May be responsible for (contributing to the) creation/updating Operational Work Standard (OWS) and Job Breakdown Sheet (JBS).
  • Ensure compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
  • Support inventory accuracy & correction operations are realized to keep inventory IT data aligned with physical situation Drive the actions to get service level, quality, environment, process lead time, maintenance & ensures productivity goals are reached
  • Operational role: (reception, picking, packaging,…)
  • Make sure operators are trained & validates training levels Drive in real-time daily adjustments of staff according to the needs and job rotation Key contributor to the work instruction (physical tasks and IT tasks) Request to Order Management the replenishment of consumables not managed by ROP in the system Contribute or lead continuous improvement actions

  • Environment: Factory setting with adherence to safety protocols
  • Physical requirements: Lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Overtime: Available and dependent on business volume and leadership approval.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Associate degree/trade school certification in a related field
  • Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and sit for extended periods of time.
  • OSHA10 and/or OSHA30 (great to have!)
  • Forklift certification (great to have!)
  • Experience supporting/compliance with HSE & 5S rules
