What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd shift position at Schneider Electric?
Shift Timing: 2:30pm- 11:30pm
What will you do?
- Identifying, driving, and implementing continuous improvement opportunities within the group.
- Having ownership of group performance goals and objectives.
- Leading appropriate SIM (short interval management) cycles within the Schneider Production System.
- Analyzing and evaluating problems with inventory, delivery, and/or sales orders. Providing periodic reports and updates to management.
- Organizing and assigning work to ensure it is completed in accordance with internally established procedures, good management practices, quality and safety.
- Develop/update standard operating procedures in the Quality Management System
- Providing direction and management of the plant cycle counting program
- Assisting with other materials department initiatives such as: inventory/replenishment strategy analysis and reduction opportunities
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelors degree OR equivalent years of experience in the related field.
- 3 years minimum experience in a supervision role.
- Strong working knowledge of PC applications (Windows, Excel, Word, Access, etc)
- SAP experience a plus
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge and application preferred.
- Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
