We are currently looking for a Landscape Architect for our Construction Services team.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
- BS degree in landscape architecture required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in planning, site design, presentation graphics, and construction document preparation.
- Private sector experience preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD design software.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of sustainable design strategies.
- Working knowledge of civil site work, grading, and drainage
- Experience working with project teams on multiple projects simultaneously (multi-task).
- Good written and oral communication skills. Self-sufficiency, problem solving skills, and graphic presentation skills are important attributes.
- Comfortable with all tasks associated with the evolution of a project from beginning conception to final construction documents.
- Comfortable with project presentation.
Essential Duties Include:
- Preparation, coordination, and production of design through construction documents.
- Review and approve the technical approach to project tasks and work product to ensure they meet objectives of client while adhering to local, state, and federal laws.
- Site construction plan and regulatory submittal package preparation
- Work with review agencies to obtain plan approvals. Plan review and permitting coordination.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordination with external consultants and communication with clients.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends and best practices in landscape architecture.
