Schneider is seeking a Logistics Planner in Skowhegan to handle operational-related tasks, as well as analyze current services and business initiatives to provide information for better decision-making. The Logistics Planner will work closely with the carriers and the customer to met the needs of the business.
Responsibilities :
- Provide analytical support to internal teams and customers.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Analyze the financial impact of changes in routing, equipment, carriers, sourcing and product mix.
- Work on projects in a cross-functional team.
- Perform transportation and logistics cost analysis.
- Resolve system tracking issues and incomplete shipments.
- Act as a liaison between customer service and operations for key metric development.
