Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about craft cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, with a focus on hospitality. You’ll be responsible for creating innovative drinks, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and serve high-quality cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Develop signature cocktails that highlight the nostalgic features the bistro is showcasing.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking and inventory.
- Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create pairings that complement the menu.
- Assist in training barbacks or junior bartenders as needed.
- Handle cash, process payments, and manage tabs accurately.
Qualifications
- Minimum [3] years of bartending experience in a high-end or craft cocktail setting.
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and wine.
- Experience with cocktail creation and menu development is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be of legal drinking age and possess necessary certifications (e.g., ServSafe Alcohol or equivalent).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
