Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables, ensuring a pleasant first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize the flow of the restaurant.
- Provide menus and explain daily specials, taking orders accurately and promptly.
- Serve food and beverages with attention to detail, ensuring that all guest needs are met throughout their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, striving to resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to food safety standards.
- Utilize POS systems effectively for order entry and payment processing.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality, particularly within hotel or restaurant settings.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Familiarity with POS systems, including Aloha POS, is preferred.
- Effective phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a friendly demeanor.
