Job Description :
Become a Van Truckload Driver Trainer!
Home Time : Daily
Experience : Minimum of 12 months CDL experience required.
Schedule :
Monday through Friday, 1st shift.
About the Role :
Utilize your expertise in commercial driving to serve as a vital resource for both drivers and Operations.
Support and mentor existing drivers, providing tailored training to enhance their skills and ensure road readiness.
Collaborate with Operations as a safety advocate while also providing assistance to drivers.
Effectively manage coaching and training interactions, addressing diverse needs efficiently.
Deliver hands-on training that aligns with curriculum standards and meets driver requirements.
Work alongside Safety, Training Leadership, and Operations to identify training issues and propose actionable solutions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records to ensure compliance with all regulations.
Assist with the out-processing of drivers and help new associates adapt to the over-the-road lifestyle.
Regularly haul freight and provide coverage for the training phone queue.
Support various operational needs, including travel to offsite locations, customer start-ups, repositioning equipment, freight hauling, and conducting truck inspections.
Be prepared for additional duties as needed in response to evolving business demands.
Pay and Benefits :

Compensation based on CDL driver experience, performance, and location.
Qualifications :
Previous instructor or training experience is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to effectively coach and mentor in a team environment.
Maintains a positive and professional attitude with a willingness to embrace change.
Capability to learn, exemplify, and train others on company policies and procedures.
Familiarity with Word, Excel, and other computer-based systems is a plus.
Driver Requirements :
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Current DOT physical card.
At least 24 months of Class A driving experience.
Must reside within 60 miles of Janesville, WI.
