Schneider is seeking a Test in Mexico City to establish and grow carrier relationships while also coaching and mentoring less experienced freight brokers. The Senior Freight Broker will manage carrier contracts in their market to generate capacity and service customers. #LI-DNI
Responsibilities:
- Assist new freight brokers with growing their book of business and resolving problems.
- Sell freight opportunities to new and established carriers.
- Identify, prospect and generate new carriers.
- Quote, negotiate price and commit transportation services to close deals.
- Grow business with existing carriers.
- Use data and market trends to make profit-based decisions.
- Problem solve and make quick decisions to ensure freight is delivered on time.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales or a related field.
- 1-2 years of sales experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
