Description
1 Sorts, packs, wraps, tie and label products as per company procedures.
2 Weighs products and records weight and other data in product labels.
3 Monitors and maintains accurate inventory.
4 Cleans work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets, wood and plastic.
5 Follows company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive work atmosphere.
6 Maintains forklift equipment by daily inspections. Form to be filled out and turned into the Shipping and Receiving Manager to make determination on calling in for repair.
7 Maintains material handling equipment by refueling and other necessary actions, and record all information on log sheet.
8 Records information regarding movements of supplies, materials and finished products.
9 Identifies and reports faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to Supervisor immediately.
10 Stores the products in proper places in warehouse.
11 Transports products to and from warehouse and distribution centers.
12 Delivers products to various units in safely and timely manner.
13 Keeps own and adjacent work area clean.
14 Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
PREFERRED EDUCATION: N/A
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: At least 1-3 years of driving the forklift in a manufacturing environment
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Forklift certification

Physical Requirements
· Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck
· Occasionally lift up to 25lbs; push/pull up to 25lbs and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot
· Having a good sense of balance
· Having good eye-hand-foot coordination
· Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
· Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and work in high, precarious places and where the sound and noise levels are loud and distracting. Employee must wear protective items such as safety shoes, glasses, and hearing protection. Work in this occupation involves sitting two-thirds of the time.
