The Role: As our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of care we provide. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and inspire our dedicated nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the DON to oversee the daily operations of our nursing department.
- Support and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in care planning, assessments, and interdisciplinary meetings.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care outcomes.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new nursing staff.
- Step in for the DON as needed and be the go-to person for staff and residents.
What We’re Looking For:
- An RN license in good standing in the state of Indiana.
- At least 1 years of nursing leadership experience (long-term care experience preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- A genuine passion for senior care and the ability to inspire others.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care.
- The ability to juggle multiple responsibilities with grace and a sense of humor.
