- Student Enterprises – Teachers with student enterprises are expected to serve as the CEO and CFO of those organizations.
- CTSO – Teachers with CTSOs are expected to serve as an advisor for organizations aligned with their program.
- Establish and maintain standards of pupil contact needed to provide an orderly, safe, and productive environment in an activity-type classroom with many potential hazards.
- Instruct pupils in the use of eye protection and safety guards, and in the use, care, and safe operation of tools, machines, and equipment.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable room and lab environment by control of facility layout, materials storage, lighting, heating, and ventilation to the extent possible.
- Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops, or professional meetings, or by conducting research, and by maintaining professional relationships with members of institutions of higher learning and the business community.

Position Summary
Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Principal or designee, the Health Science teacher maximizes the learning experience of students enrolled in the Health Science program. The teacher utilizes a district-approved curriculum developed from the State of NH Career and Technical Education (CTE) competencies and the NH Board of Nursing (BON) to meet the academic, interpersonal, and career-focused goals of all students. The teacher models and teaches the proper techniques, use of tools/equipment, and skills through theory-based instruction and hands-on practice in the Health Science lab. The teacher will also provide clinical experience to a cohort of LNA students at a BON-approved location. The teacher will coordinate the LNA program and work collaboratively with another clinical instructor as needed. The teacher will provide a multi-faceted program that offers a myriad of opportunities for growth for all students in the Health Science program. This posting is to fill a recent opening. We will consider long-term substitutes and applicants interested in a permanent position.
