GIRLS SOCCER COACH – CLAREMONT MIDDLE SCHOOL
OVERVIEW
- Under the supervision of the Athletic Director and the Head Coach, will work to coordinate the Stevens High School and Claremont Middle School Soccer program
- Develop and establish a high-quality program founded on sound principles, strong team values, and the ethics of hard work, commitment, loyalty, honesty, respect and sportsmanship all within a fun learning atmosphere
- Help to communicate all information regarding the Stevens High School and Claremont Middle School Soccer program to the parents and community
ABILITY TO:
- Work cooperatively with the athletic director and head coach, administration, staff, parents, community and key stakeholders of SHS and CMS Soccer
- Motivate and connect with our student athletes
- Be an integral member of a program that spans grades 6-12
- Work cooperatively with and support all other coaches in serving the needs and interests of all student/athletes
- Combine the reinforcement of basic skills with advanced skills needed for a competitive soccer program
- Communicate with Athletic Trainer to ensure safety and healthiness of student athletes
- High School Soccer and the complexities of the game/events
- Current NFHS and NHIAA rules, policies and procedures
- Commitment to program and helping the growth of student athletes
- Strong work ethic coupled with great leadership
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to student athletes
- Superior organizational skills
- Red Cross First Aid certificate, including CPR/AED training
- NFHS and NHIAA coaching requirements
- At least three years of successful Middle School and/or High School or Club level experience preferred
