Marion Cross Elementary School is seeking a reliable, flexible, and dependable Building Substitute to join our dynamic team of educators. This is adaily, full-timeposition, where you will be providing coverage for teacher absences. As a building substitute, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment for students. This position begins immediately and ends onApril 11, 2025. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Except as specifically noted, the following functions are considered essential to this position:
- Provide instructional support in the absence of the regular teacher
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Follow lesson plans and adapt as necessary to meet student needs
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration
- Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate school personnel
- Assist with non-classroom duties as assigned
- Must comply with all SAU 70 District policy and building / department rules, procedures, practices and objectives.
