General Purpose:
The ELO Advisor will be responsible for development and implementation of ELO opportunities for students at Hanover High School.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Except as specifically noted, the following functions are considered essential to this position:
- Establish and maintain rigorous, relevant, and personalized ELO processes, protocols, and tools
- Develop/maintain connections with programs in the Upper Valley that provide ELO opportunities for high school students
- Liaison to students, faculty, administration, counseling department, and community partners - promoting, facilitating, and recruiting for ELOs
- Support departments in the development of ELO cohort programs.
- Support students in the development of Independent ELO opportunities and check progress check on research, reflection, product, and presentation, as needed
- Continue to expand student ELO opportunities and pathways;
- Increase teachers familiarity with the community and ELO possibilities;
- Publicize and promote ELO opportunities
- develop materials and presentations to inform the school community about ELOs
- Assess existing and potential community partner sites for approval
- Manage all ELO records- ensure that all partners in ELOs complete and receive appropriate information and documents
- Oversight and evaluation of independent study ELOs
- Collaborate on application process and rubrics with Senior Bridges teachers
- Review and approve applications for ELOs
- Oversight to assure that all ELOs meet school board standards
- Attend department and staff meetings
- Perform other duties and accepts responsibilities as assigned
- Must comply with all SAU 70 District policy and building / department rules, procedures, practices and objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree
- Two to Four (2-4) years of relevant experience at the high school level
- New Hampshire Educators Certification for grades 7-12 in any area
