What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Assistant Baseball Coach position at School Administrative Unit #9?
POSITION: Middle School Assistant Baseball Coach
REPORTS TO: Josiah Bartlett Elementary School Athletic Director
SEASON: Mid-March to Early June
SCHEDULE: All practices and games will be Monday-Friday
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Previous Baseball coaching experience at the Middle School level preferred. Coach will be responsible for team activities including all scheduled practices and meets, adhere to district policies, rules and objectives. Coach will lead by example among the team and participants. Focus will be on personal development, skills development, safety, fair play, sportsmanship and work to establish and improve team and program.
Candidates should be dependable, detail oriented, willing and able to both lead and delegate within a coaching staff atmosphere, meet or be willing to complete all Bartlett School District and NHIAA requirements, ability to travel with the team to and from home and away meets. CPR/First Aide certification required but will train if needed.
