- Provides evidence based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team.
- Also provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed.
- Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Location : Lincoln Park High School- Lincoln Park Michigan
- A graduated from an accredited university or college with a master’s degree in social work, and fully licensed to practice in the state of Michigan (passed their State of MI MSW Licensure exam).
- Experience: A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience providing individual, group & family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults up to age 21 and their families;
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective behavioral health care plans.
- Experience working on a multidisciplinary/integrated team; either in an urban school environment, outpatient behavioral health setting and/or primary care setting with high-risk clients/families.
- The skill set to work independently, as well as part of a dynamic integrated team with excellent organization abilities.
