Position : Music Teacher(s) - Choir & Band
Reports to : Principal(s)
Job Description : To work in school and community settings, instructing students in the principles of music and choral skills. Music teacher supervises and assist students. Create a flexible elementary / secondary music program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitude and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for elementary / secondary grade education, in accordance with each pupil’s ability; to establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors of Arts Degree
- Valid Indiana Teaching Certification

Must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity to dial a telephone, to enter data into a computer terminal; hear and understand speech at normal levels; physical agility to lift up to 50 pounds; to bend, to stoop, to sit on the floor, to climb stairs, to walk and to reach overhead
