- Lead and collaborate with others on the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school improvement plan

Summary: The associate principal works as part of an administrative and leadership team to improve outcomes for all students while closing achievement, opportunity, and participation gaps. A key area of work includes being the 9th Grade administrator, leading the Building Assets Reducing Risks (BARR) program. Additionally, the associate principal provides leadership and support to various departments, collaborative teams, programs, and individual teachers. Further, the Associate Principal helps build and maintain a positive school climate and culture with students and staff.
