PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Accountability Coordinator supports various accountability responsibilities, including district-wide survey administration/ analysis and coordination of calendar for district-wide monitoring systems (Systemwide Framework, PDSA). The Accountability Coordinator supports District personnel in administering district-wide standardized assessments by managing access to relevant databases and online portals, coordinating resources from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and assessment providers (e.g., College Board and Pearson), collaborating with District educational professionals, generating reports from various platforms, and delivering training on assessment administration tools (e.g., ordering, proctoring, and submission processes).

  • Ensures that all actions are in concert with the Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives, and parameters found in the Board's strategic plan.
  • Participates in job training and professional growth opportunities in order to enhance ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
  • Leads the district in all district-wide surveys, and acts as the point of contact for external survey vendors.
  • Analyzes and prepares all survey results for internal and external stakeholder review and action.
  • Creates and presents data and results to various stakeholders regarding the Systemwide Framework and district-wide surveys
  • Establishes and maintains processes to work with buildings and central office departments on survey related tasks.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records of all survey action planning efforts.
  • Oversees the district wide calendar for the Systemwide Framework and coordinates and processes documentation and implementation of testing calendars.
  • Collaborates with buildings and central office departments for Systemwide Framework tasks.
  • Oversees the annual Plan Do Study Act and Academic-Return On Investment processes and calendars.
  • Manages the Accountability and the Systemwide Framework pages in Let's Talk.
  • Collaborates with relevant departments to ensure assessment needs are met, e.g., Tech Services for SIS uploads, Bilingual for ACCESS, and Special Education for IEP-related needs.
  • Coordinates and ensures the timely ordering of all assessment-related materials with relevant district personnel, ISBE, and other designated vendors. Assist with the development and dissemination of materials that include but are not limited to: describing assessment guidelines and practices, materials and accommodations process(es) and procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Processes requests for online access to assessment portals.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Relevant job experience will be considered.

WORK CALENDAR: 12 Months

WORKING CONDITIONS: Moderate in-district travel as well as intermittent in-state and out-of-state travel. Intermittent prolonged and irregular hours of work.
