Responsibilities
- Provide small-group and individualized math intervention for 6th-8th grade students.
- Use data-driven instruction to identify student needs and adjust support strategies.
- Implement engaging, hands-on, and research-based interventions to build foundational math skills.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to align interventions with core math instruction.
- Foster a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
- Track student progress and communicate growth with students, staff, and families.
- Utilize technology and math programs to enhance student learning.
- Support school-wide math initiatives and participate in professional development.
- A valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License.
- Colorado Department of Education “In Field” by CDE endorsement or qualifications to teach the posted subject area.
- The ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously.
- The ability and interest to be part of a high-functioning team. (Having respected and trusted colleagues, preferably as teammates, makes the demands of teaching sustainable.)
- The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum, and so on).
