27J Schools, located in Adams and Weld counties, is currently seeking Secondary Teachers to join our team for students in grades 6-12 to inspire students to love and have ownership of learning. We seek individuals who know they can teach all students to meet high expectations in a nurturing environment through hard work and collaboration with other like-minded teachers. Beginning August 2018, 27J Schools made the transition to a four-day student contact week. 27J teachers work Tuesday through Friday. All 27J Schools are closed on Monday. Administrative staff remains on a five-day work week. We are the only Denver metro area school district to operate on a 4 day school week, which comes out to a 162-day teacher contract.
27J Schools serves four Colorado communities located Northeast of Denver: Brighton, Commerce City, Reunion, and Thornton. The school district sits in the heart of a fast-growing region adjacent to Denver International Airport and close to Boulder and the mountains, Denver and the many amazing outdoor activities Colorado offers.
