ABOUT THE POSITION
School District 49 is actively seeking a Data Technician to join the Performance Excellence team. Performance Excellence is a small, but dynamic team that works closely on projects throughout all areas of the organization. This position will be engaged in supporting the organization to achieve organizational excellence. We are looking for someone who thinks it's fun to keep track of all of the details and loves to learn while providing excellent customer experiences.
Qualified candidates will possess both technical and interpersonal skills allowing them to effectively meet with and support leaders across the district to gather and reoprt results, support program evaluations, and interpret results so these can be integrated into the district's performance excellence framework. Candidates must be able to demonstrate successful support of project management, meeting deadlines while balancing multiple projects. Candidates must have proficient written and verbal communication skills, a thorough knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets). Experience with a performance excellence framework such as Baldrige or Lean Six Sigma methodology is preferred.
Calendar : 261 days
Reports to : Assigned Supervisor
Hourly rate of pay : Starting pay is $22.15 per hour to $29.09 per hour depending upon previous relevant experience. Actual starting pay rate will be determined after a review of the work experience provided on the job application.
Full-time or Part-time : Full-time, typically working 8 hours per day
